Some things you’ve just got to have

“When I saw the monogram Rei created for The Tapes,” says Hana Nachtebel, CEO of the I Live Night by Night (NxN) collective, “I thought it was just, really beautiful. Like a really classic logomark from a prestigious streetwear brand maybe.

“Now, I never presume to tell Rei anything, but I called her up and said it was so amazing it has to be the tag on all our merch. She just laughed and pointed her phone at Mujiki, who was trying on the prototype of exactly that. They’re plain spooky sometimes, those two. Two days later, a DHL arrived from Florence. I’ve been practically sleeping in mine ever since.”

What landed in that package wasn't just a basic garment; it was a physical manifestation of the aesthetic running through the entire collective. The monogram bridges the gap between raw, analog hardware culture and high-end visual design, anchoring the brand's identity across the digital and physical realms.

Seeing the team work in parallel—Hana pushing the vision from New York while Rei and Mujiki prototype the physical gear out of Italy—shows how tightly locked in this entire operation is. The design manages to be completely minimal while carrying the weight and presence of a heavy subcultural statement.

By taking the logomark straight off the screen and printing it onto fabric, they have created a tangible emblem for the vault. It transforms standard apparel into a highly curated artifact, giving the crew a unified front as they continue to drop these secret creative releases. It's subtle, it's premium, and it establishes a flawless blueprint for how every single asset under the NxN umbrella should look and feel going forward.

They’re plain spooky sometimes those two…
