Amrarah comes with a message of peace on her latest release.

This new track finds Amarah in reflective mood as she gives a heartfelt plea to find peace and release.
Wicked, funny, and often at the edge, it was strange when Amrah brought a very old looking piece of paper into the studio she wanted to make a track from.
“Yeah, like that poem was a decade old. At least, from a time when I sing in my bedroom mirror with my hairbrush, classic teen stuff” says Amarah.
“I do all the other songs girls do, you know Beyoncé, Amy, all that, but I also write my own thing. I remember this one ‘cos my sisters don’t tell em to shut up or anything, and even started to ask me to do it for them whike they dance along.
“But I move on, it never had a real beat or tune, so I think nothing about it. But there was a tough time and I was back at my mother’s and i find it. Over that time, many years, gorl to woman it struck with mee in a whole new way.
“It was time to record it. I go to darkStylus, we slow my usual sound down, make it softer but without making it to sickly sweet. I hope y’all can take something good from it. When trouble is at the door and everything, sometimes you just need someone to knock and whisper ’peace’ you know?”
